Conner Hall

As a player, Conner was a standout player at Edison High School. Following his high school career, Conner went on to play at Norfolk State and Marymount University where he was a four year starter, earning All-Conference honors three of his four years, and All-State and All-Region honors his Junior season. As and INF and a Pitcher in college and a catcher in HS Coach Hall is currently running Hitting/Pitching and Catching Lessons at MBA.  Conner is now also an assistant coach at Marymount University, and is a head coach with the Metropolitan Senators travel program.

Ryan Schubert

As a player, Coach Schubert was a four-year member and a team captain of the Longwood University baseball team. In 2012 he made 17 appearances – 4-1 with a 2.60 ERA. Ryan was a standout at Annandale High School where he was a two-time All-District Pitcher. Coach Schubert received his degree from Longwood, majoring in kinesiology, including a concentration in exercise science. After graduating from Longwood, Coach Schubert spent 2 seasons as the Varsity Pitching Coach at Annandale High school, then spent one season as a Varsity Pitching Coach at West Springfield High School, and most recently spent 2 seasons as an Assistant Coach at Marymount University. Coach Schubert is now a lead instructor for Metro Baseball Academy as well as a Head Coach of the Metro Senators Varsity team.

Mike Gallagher

Mike has spent the majority of his baseball career in the Northern Virginia area where his accomplishments include being an All-District high school player, American Legion All-Star and All-Conference collegiate player at Shenandoah University. For five years, Mike coached at Hayfield High School in Alexandria, VA where he served as a varsity assistant, head JV coach, and head varsity coach. In 2006, Mike was named the 2006 Patriot District Coach of the Year for the Hayfield Hawks, leading the Hawks to a school-record 17 wins and an overall record of 17-6 (13-3). Mike also served as the head varsity baseball coach at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA from 2007–2013. Mike was named the 2008 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Coach of the Year after leading the Cardinals to the school’s first-ever WCAC title game. The Cardinals repeated their trip to the WCAC finals in 2009. Mike was also the founder and owner of Dominion Baseball Academy and the former DBA Dragons travel baseball program. The Dragons, established in 2006, have sent several players on to college baseball. Dominion Baseball and the Dragons program beginning in 2015 transitioned to Metro Baseball Academy and the Metro Senators.

Mike resides in Springfield, VA, with his wife Kristin and 2 children Ryan and Phoebe.

Michael Cassidy

Michael Cassidy grew up in Burke, Virginia before taking his talents to Averett University to play baseball as a 3-year starter while earning a degree in sports management. He was a founder and director of the VBC Occoquan/NOVA South Academy facility from 2008-2013. Mike was an assistant varsity coach at Bishop O’Connell High School from 2008-2012, and an assistant varsity coach at Lake Braddock Secondary School in 2013. Cassidy has served as an assistant coach at Marymount University since 2013. Mike was also the head coach of the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks in 2016 and 2017 in the Futures Collegiate League in New England and was the pitching coach for the FCA Braves in the Cal Ripken Collegiate league in 2018. Mike is a founder and director of Metropolitan Baseball Academy.
