Metropolitan Baseball Academy Advantage

Our philosophy is simple: Dedicate yourself to hard work and the results will follow. With a personal, customized process, we give baseball players in the Northern Virginia area the competitive edge needed to reach full potential. Our experienced coaches train like players, and our players continue to reach
their goals.

Expert Coaching

There’s no coaching staff we’d rather have when it’s the bottom of the 9th with two outs. With over a decade of coaching experience, our professional instructors take pride in teaching and use their diverse baseball background to provide best practices and proven training.

Personal Approach

You won’t find any shortcuts or infomercial gadgets at our facility. Our instructors coach players using a hands-on, customized methodology that allows players to improve weaknesses while simultaneously finding strengths. With a 5:1 coach to player ratio, players are more than their number.

Weather/Cancellations

What if I miss a class?
We do not give any credits/refunds for missed classes. MBA does not guarantee that there will be an opening in another class. If you miss a class for personal reasons the MBA staff will work with you to try to find an opening in the same class at another time. Make up classes cannot be scheduled more than five days in advance. Please let us know if you will be missing a class so that we may schedule another player in that slot.

Cancelled Lessons?

Lessons that are cancelled the day prior or day(s) prior to your lesson, no cancellation fee will apply.  Lessons cancelled on the same day of your scheduled training will result in a $35 dollar cancellation/instructor fee.  For any “No Show Lessons” without communication the full lesson charge will apply.  Purchased lessons do not have an expiration date, however lessons can not be transferred outside of your immediate family.

MBA Programs Refund Policy
No credit or refund will be issued due to personal reasons, or illness unless MBA is notified in writing 14 days in advance of the program start date. NO EXCEPTIONS. To cancel a registration, you must give a 14-day written notice prior to the program start date to receive a partial refund or credit toward a future program.  A 25% service charge will be assessed on each program refund or credit.  To transfer classes, you must also give a 14-days written notice prior to the program start date. A $35 charge will be assessed for any request to move or switch classes or camps.

For Metro Senators teams any partial refund, full refund or transaction change will result in a 10% service charge.  Refunds are not policy within the Metro Senators travel program as you have agreed and confirmed your roster spot.

Weather Related Cancellations
We do not issue any refunds for weather related cancellations. MBA will issue a pro-rated credit on your customer account for any camps or programs that are cancelled due to weather related issues.  Make-Up Classes are not typically scheduled for weather related cancellations but can be requested by the customer in lieu of the credit.  NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

Testimonials

Kate Lavanga

We’ve always been impressed with the knowledge of the game and the ability to teach mechanics that all of the instructors that we’ve run across have. They’re always very honest and straightforward but positive as well. With our son heading onto the big field in a matter of months, we’ve committed to weekly lessons. There isn’t a better place for our him to prepare him for that transition and learn the skills he needs.

Jack Dougherty

I owe a lot to Mike and Mike at Metro Baseball. They have been an incredibly positive influence on our son while growing up. Watching him play for the Dragons – now Senators – was the best time of his life and mine. I’d give anything to relive those years again. Guess I’ll have to hope for a grandson in the not-too-distant future so I can enjoy this experience again. Good luck and thanks for all of the memories!
