Mike Gallagher
Mike was an All-District high school player, American Legion All-Star and All-Conference collegiate player at Shenandoah University. Mike coached at Hayfield High School in Alexandria, VA from 2003-06 where he served as the head varsity coach in 2006. Mike was named the 2006 Patriot District Coach of the Year, leading the Hawks to a school-record 17 wins and an overall record of 17-6 (13-3). Mike also served as the head varsity baseball coach at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA from 2007–2013. Mike was named the 2008 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Coach of the Year after leading the Cardinals to the school’s first-ever and back to back WCAC title games in 2008 and 2009, leading the Cardinals to 4 (VISAA) State Tournaments. Additionally Coach Gallagher was Head Coach at Robinson HS in Burke, VA from 2019 – 2022, again leading the Rams to a 15 win season in his first year which is the most wins for the program since 2006. Mike is currently the Varsity Hitting Coach at Paul VI Catholic HS in Chantilly, VA.
The founder and owner of Dominion Baseball Academy (2004) and the former DBA Dragons travel baseball program. has since transitioned to Metro Baseball Academy and the Metro Senators.
Mike resides in Manassas, VA, with his wife Kristin and 2 children Ryan and Phoebe.
